Cancellation Policy

At Rise & Roam, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as clear and fair as possible, ensuring that both travelers and our operations are protected. Please read the following terms carefully before making a booking.

1. Cancellation by the Traveler

In case a traveler chooses to cancel the booking, the following charges apply based on the departure date:

  • check_circle30 days or more before departure: 30% of total tour cost deduction
  • check_circle15 to 29 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost deduction
  • check_circle7 to 14 days before departure: 75% of total tour cost deduction
  • check_circleLess than 7 days / No-show: 100% non-refundable
  • warningCancellation policy is subject to change based on hotel policies.
  • warningPeak season (festivals, summer) often requires 100% cancellation fees.
  • warningPostponement Fee: Flat ₹2,000 if requested 10+ days before travel.
  • warningAny package changes after confirmation are fully chargeable.

2. Refund Policy

Eligible refunds are handled with the following timeline and conditions:

  • check_circleProcessing Time: 7–10 working days from cancellation confirmation.
  • check_circleRefund Method: Credited back to the original mode of payment.
  • check_circleDeductions: Bank transaction fees or gateway charges are deducted from the final amount.

    3. Important Conditions

    Please be aware of these critical booking terms:

    • check_circleCharges are calculated on the TOTAL package cost, not just the advance paid.
    • check_circleNo refunds for early departures, unused services, or missed activities.
    • check_circleNon-refundable items: Permits, helicopter tickets, and special peak-season bookings.

      4. Unforeseen Circumstances

      In case of natural calamities, road closures, or government restrictions:

      • check_circleTraveler safety is our priority; we will assist with rescheduling or travel credit.
      • check_circleCash refunds depend entirely on the refunds received from our suppliers.
      • check_circleOperational Cancellation: If we cancel for safety reasons, a full refund or alternative date is offered.
